Lazy Sundays

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,
it's about learning to dance in the rain."

So, after it being a rough week I decided to take some time off. And by off I mean from everything gripping my heart, soul, and brain. Embraced laziess and didn't care. Ate. Took pictures. Wrote in my journal. Shopped on Etsy and found this amazing shop where I bought one of her hooded dresses. Ordered this laptop as a business investment so I can actually edit & write when I go on the road. And just relaxed. I have a lot of stuff to catch up on but none of that matters right now. Only me time.

Mr. Winter hit us this weekend! It was almost strange to see snow and ice because it's been so warm this winter. All of it has practically melted already due to the warm weather that's already made it's way back but I have definitely been enjoying this winter so far.

Visited my parents where we all enjoyed a lazy sunday together. Had pizza. Ranted about our weeks. And put together a puzzle (which I am very bad at!!)

But, let's just say I'm ready for this new week! And it definitely is going to be better than last :)

I Am Alive.

I cannot, have not, and will not be a slave to any one man, company, or idea that is not my own. I will work hard for all the things I achieve in my lifetime and will do so by my own means, sheer will, and determination with a dash of unending persistence.

There are many nice things I want and many things I wish to accomplish. But jobs should be a means of providing the goods to fulfill the dreams your heart desires. Not for you to live your life for it. Especially if you weren't the one who created the job in the first place out of your own love and passion for it. If a company measles its way into my life to steal me from it, I will say goodbye forever and dare I say they will lose a very valuable employee.

I will work hard for anyone and anything out of respect and love for what I am doing. If you force me to do something, you will see me spit back your way with little attempt from me to even try. I will not be controlled. Forced. Bullied. Or swindled. I am me. I am free. I am alive. And no one will ever take that from me.

Photoblog: Winter Weekend Adventures

Sushi. MMA fights. Family. Costco adventures. Newest cousins baptism. Endless smiles. Deep, heartfelt conversations. Pizza. Ice cream. 2 hour nap. Old republic.
Man, this weekend has been incredible.

Here are a few of my favorite snapshots from the weekend.
