Hop, Skip, and a Jump Away

So, I've been wanting to customize my own clothes recently. I get a lot of free shirts from my work for different games that come out so I thought I'd take this one from the new Witcher 2 coming out and make a new neckline because the original one was literally choking me lol. I don't know much more I will do to this particular shirt but I have others I'm excited to play with!

Tonight I'm going out with some girlfriends to celebrate my friend Julia's 21st birthday! I wanted to get a cute dress for the weekend, and I found some cute heels that were on sale due to Prom season coming around! :)

I also took an entire inventory on my shoes and what kinds I have while doing some spring cleaning late the other night. I'm excited to say I am just about where I want to be with my shoes!

In photography news I'm just about to finish up my most recent wedding. My goal was to get them done by the 18th because that's when they come back from their honeymoon! But, I think it might take a few days longer.

Also, I am planning a few small trips for the year. A camping trip with the hubby somewhere. A beach trip with my closest friends. And also a trip down to florida again this summer to visit family :) My cousin, who got married last summer, is going to be having his first baby :) I want to try and be there <3

Anyway, better get going!

Updates!

It's been too long since I've written! I feel there's been so much going on.

Time for some just casual updates.

Last couple weeks I've been contemplating the idea of getting my haircut similar to this:

Now for those of you who do not know me, I have had long hair for almost my entire life. The only time it wasn't long (long being down to my chest) was when I was about 8 and my mom made me cut it short because I wasn't brushing it well enough (lol) and it got too tangly. All other times of my life it has been long. So I feel the need for a change! If I don't like it, I can just let it grow out.

I'm so excited for this Spring weather. Yesterday was such a lovely day! It's a shame I had to work through most of it. But by the time I got out, I was able to make it home in time, gather up the hubby and puppy, and head up to our favorite Chinese restaurant, Panda King. Then we headed to a park we hadn't been to since we were first married. It's up in more countryside of where I grew up and the thing I love most about it is there's never any people there! Living in the more bustling areas of Cincinnati, it's nice to get some fresh air once in a while. Sitting at a picnic table at this park, we watched an airplane practice acrobatics in the crystal clear blue sky over a growing corn field. It was a lovely moment. It reminded me of the burning desire I have to learn to fly.

So, in other news I will be an auntie! The idea of it is still kinda weird since I only have 1 sister and with her being younger than I, I always thought in the back of my mind I would be the first to have a kid. Especially since I'm married. But, nonetheless, life happens and it's always best to embrace it. It has me lurking the internet for cute baby things...

Me being an auntie to my own sister's baby, I think I will finally be able to start feeling more comfortable around babies. I know she won't get weird with me if I don't do something by the book lol.

In photography news, I did a wedding on March 3rd and fell in looooooove with the couple, their family, the venue.... all of it. It was an extraordinary day. I won't be able to post any photos online however as they are very private people but I will be doing a special blog post about their venue and the beauty and also deep history it holds (which will probably end up being on the photography blog).

Today, I am taking an off day for myself. I'm going to treat myself to some yummy lunch, go shopping for an outfit for this saturday (it's one of my best friends 21st birthdays!), go for a run, and possibly stop by my parents house for my bike. I miss riding it. Catch up on some reading, if the sun shows itself today maybe do some tanning... who knows! And that's the beauty of it :)
