"Honesty Photo Series"

I'm one of those people that has always wanted to tell stories, big & small. It fuels life for me. The communication between one's self and the world is absolutely amazing. And I want to try and photograph these moments and people's different lifestyles.

Basically, I'm wanting to do $50 portrait sessions for anyone that is wanting to create images that tell a story. Your story. Your friend's story. The story of your life what you think it will be like in 10 years time. What you dream to be. What you are. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Where you life is now, and then. All of you is what I want to capture. The idea is to walk away from each of these shoots with a single image... or to stitch multiple ones together to form comics that will literally tell your story.

And see, with this idea there is literally no boundaries. We can focus around your fashion style. Your choices of hair, makeup, your favorite shoes, the old suitcases from your grandma's house, your pets, your favorite lamps and lanterns, the things you collect, the guitar that you play on in your spare time (or all the time!).... absolutely anything. We can plan your shoot through an email sent to me (brooketownsend109@gmail.com) and we can schedule for this shoot anytime you'd like!

I want you to be able to walk away from these shoots and feel as though you learned something deeper about yourself. Or learned to embrace a new part about yourself you couldn't get past before. Or to smile at the beauty you naturally carry with you, even if you don't know it's there. Life is too short to live without expressing yourself to the fullest. So.... how do you want to tell your story?

Pass this onto your friends, your family, your co-workers... anyone that may be interested! You don't need to be a model, a photographer, or anything! If you have ever wanted to get professional pictures done at any time in your life, now is the time!

You sound very convincing! I would book a should myself, or pass this on, but you know, unless you could come over here this is gonna have to wait... :-/ Unless of course you're willing to travel! :-)

I do like your concepts and ideas though... I try to achieve the very same with every self portrait I take. Sometimes I do believe they tell something about me, sometimes I'm not so sure...

And I love that camera! :-)

Thank ya Sir! And I would love to do one for you too! :D:D I am definitely willing to travel!! ;) Just got to get the means to do so haha. One of these days...

I had a dream the other night I was randomly walking in a lonely fashion around Germany totally lost, but in love with it.

I really want to make them fun shoots and really let people break out and be themselves. I plan to bake cookies and bring radios to lighten the mood and just be nuts. Embrace the beauty within others to help themselves see it too :) I don't think all pictures for models need to run in the sexiest photo contest.

And thanks about the camera! Picked it up at the antique shop closest to our house.

Sounds beautiful. Love cookies! :-)
So would you take pictures with that polaroid or the 50D?

btw, Erica Perry (the photographer from Louisiana, you're friends with her on Facebook too) said she'd love to visit England as well, it'd be absolutely awesome to have some kind of an international photographer's gathering :-)
If I find a place to start training to become a mechanic, I'll begin working on the 1st of August. So if you come over in August or later I can only come over to England for the weekend, which is possible because I get my flight tickets paid by my dad's company, so I don't really have to care about the money lol, but it'd be nice if it happened in June or July because I'm planning to bring my car and spend two weeks driving along the coast and some parts of the countryside
Anyway, I'm asking because I really want to go skydiving andt none of my friends neither in Hamburg nor London have the guts to do it hahah

Nah, it would be with the 50D! I don't know enough about film nor have the funds to get that going professionally. It's like a whole new world!

And it's still up in the air if we'll actually be able to go to England or not next year :( It depends on how much we get back from tax returns in February but we've got some credit cards to pay off D: after the end of next year though my car will be paid for, cards paid off, and we will be on our way to financial freedom really. Like I said, it just depends on how much we get back. It's kinda funny, all I've been thinking about is going there. And I'd want to plan it around what you can do! Cuz for sure we should totally try to do an international photographer's meeting haha!! That would be awesome :) Totally down for that

Also, I just had a dream about skydiving last night! That I was in this line to get ready to go and I chickened out! And now I'm mad at myself for not even doing it in my dream!!

Well, if not 2012 then 2013!

No you wouldn't... I think when you do it with a group of people you know, you're less likely to chicken out.
