It's been too long since I've written! I feel there's been so much going on.
Time for some just casual updates.
Last couple weeks I've been contemplating the idea of getting my haircut similar to this:
Now for those of you who do not know me, I have had long hair for almost my entire life. The only time it wasn't long (long being down to my chest) was when I was about 8 and my mom made me cut it short because I wasn't brushing it well enough (lol) and it got too tangly. All other times of my life it has been long. So I feel the need for a change! If I don't like it, I can just let it grow out.
I'm so excited for this Spring weather. Yesterday was such a lovely day! It's a shame I had to work through most of it. But by the time I got out, I was able to make it home in time, gather up the hubby and puppy, and head up to our favorite Chinese restaurant, Panda King. Then we headed to a park we hadn't been to since we were first married. It's up in more countryside of where I grew up and the thing I love most about it is there's never any people there! Living in the more bustling areas of Cincinnati, it's nice to get some fresh air once in a while. Sitting at a picnic table at this park, we watched an airplane practice acrobatics in the crystal clear blue sky over a growing corn field. It was a lovely moment. It reminded me of the burning desire I have to learn to fly.
So, in other news I will be an auntie! The idea of it is still kinda weird since I only have 1 sister and with her being younger than I, I always thought in the back of my mind I would be the first to have a kid. Especially since I'm married. But, nonetheless, life happens and it's always best to embrace it. It has me lurking the internet for cute baby things...
Me being an auntie to my own sister's baby, I think I will finally be able to start feeling more comfortable around babies. I know she won't get weird with me if I don't do something by the book lol.
In photography news, I did a wedding on March 3rd and fell in looooooove with the couple, their family, the venue.... all of it. It was an extraordinary day. I won't be able to post any photos online however as they are very private people but I will be doing a special blog post about their venue and the beauty and also deep history it holds (which will probably end up being on the photography blog).
Today, I am taking an off day for myself. I'm going to treat myself to some yummy lunch, go shopping for an outfit for this saturday (it's one of my best friends 21st birthdays!), go for a run, and possibly stop by my parents house for my bike. I miss riding it. Catch up on some reading, if the sun shows itself today maybe do some tanning... who knows! And that's the beauty of it :)

Good evening, auntie Brooke! :-)
OMG, you must've been shocked to find out about your sister's pregnancy. That hat is awesome though.
Well, let me put it like this: That girl looks cute with her hair like that, but if you're sick of having long hair, why not try something totally different... like this...

love that hair cut...
Oh man I couldn't do that short of hair ever!! lol! I would look too much like a boy I think :( and I wouldn't like it.
To say the least I was very shocked. In fact it's been kinda hard to deal with.. lol..
I think you'd be cute looking with almost any haircut ;-)
Hahah, I can only imagine. I kind of like the idea of being my best friend's best man one day, and godfather to his children (if only he wouldn't be too shy to go out and just talk to a girl lol)... but having children of my own is something I wouldn't want to be happening to me any time soon.
Haha, well thanks Dom :P I'm afraid that when her baby gets here I'm going to end up changing my mind altogether in my plans lol Buuuut a few things still need to happen first before the idea of being preggo even happens.
hahaha, wise decision!
