100 THINGS

Video blogging is something that I've always wanted to do in the back of my mind but I haven't really ever gotten up and done it because I felt like I didn't really have the space or ability to before. Now that I'm out on my own, there's a lot more leeway in what I can do with my day. I watched a blog by Charlieissocoollike in which he did EXTREMELY well but I was inspired to make my own version of it.

In other news I've retaken the torch to carry a victory of completion to a 365 day project...! September 1st is the official move in date for my hubby and I's new place and so, I wanted to create a project that will map the entire first year of my complete independence. And how else is better to document through photographs? :) For the next year I'll be posting all my daily photos to Flickr!

I'm extremely excited for how everything is turning out to be and honestly, I'm getting even more excited for fall time. The temperatures will drop, Halloween around the corner, and the beautiful changing of the leaves that I look forward to every single year :)

Good day to you all!
Brooke

Wow... lol, those are a lot of facts in such a short time lol.
Didn't know you'd pronounce Cincinatti the way you do.

NGM... fucking a!!! :-) Space --- two thumbs up. As well as for the original Star Wars poster :-)

Did you say "favourite random creature: Bantha"? lol, I love them!

Cute nose!

Zombie apocalypse... hahah, kinda creepy, but I'd like to experience something like this too, just for a couple days though. Something like Zombieland would be so much fun! lol

You should make more of those.

Btw, today I tried making a video of Hamburg, I set up the tripod in the back, one leg behind each front seat and the third leg on the bitch seat. Wrapped the seat belts around it and fixed it up some more with duct tape. While I was still on the autobahn, everything was allright, but right at the first sharp turn after leaving the autobahn the camera fell to one side lol. Despite all the measures I've taken to prevent something like that. Total FAIL here. :-/

omg lol! that's awesome you went to such great lengths to try and get a photo though! maybe you could have just held it? haha.... or made a car seat for it with a stack of old books. its definatly the thought that counts :)

glad you liked it! :] and yes, favorite random creature is DEFINATLY a bantha. when i was on star wars galaxies, i had one for a pet and named it Bubba.

how did you think Cincinnati was pronounced?

A video! Not a photo. And it's gotta be perfect quality, so no hand held stuff. Plus, I have manual transmission so I need my left hand to hold the steering wheel, and the right to shift gears. I don't live in America :-)
That last idea would've been risky... it's an expensive camera :-) I think I'm gonna build a wooden frame or something one day, with a little screw on top, the one that fits into the thing on the camera.

Hahah... awesome!!! :-)

Kinda like... Sin|see|natty ... three syllables. The way you as a local pronounce it, it sounds like you're swallowing part of the last syllable.

Okay so I listened real hard a couple times and you do pronounce the full think, but with a different rhythm of speech than in British English :-)

That sounds like an AWESOME idea haha. I forgot that most people have manual transmission over there... that would make it tricky. I would just drive grandma slow in my car and my camera wouldn't feel a thing. But manual shifting adds some things to it.. lol

And we pronounce it as Sin-Sin-Natti. We Americans have weird ways to say everything lol.

I meant "thing", of course. Not "think". Damn. :-)

Yes, it adds some things to it. Manual transmission isn't such a great thing anyways. Especially in the city, when you're stuck in traffic, it gets annoying having to shift gears all the time. If it's stop and go, it's always like that: clutch, 1st, clutch, 2nd, clutch, neutral, clutch, 1st, ... lol
I can only think of two circumstances when I'd rather have manual transmission though:
1) You want to overtake a grandma real fast because there's cars coming the other way on a narrow road
2) For some reason you need to outrun thugs, cops or the five angry brothers of the Muslim chick you have a crush on because they want to kill you before you can dishonour their family (just kidding, lol)
